The seven numbers all men should know this Men’s Health
Week - 37” plus waist is a health risk, do 150 minutes’ moderate exercise a week, eat 5 fruit and veg a day, 14 alcohol units is weekly maximum, cigarette smokers die 10 years younger,120/80 is normal blood pressure, 75% suicides are by men. Statistics continue to show that men are not coming forward early enough with their health concerns. And according to the Mental Health Foundation, people identifying as LGBTQ+ are at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health, with problems including depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm and alcohol and substance misuse. The higher prevalence is related to a range of factors such as discrimination, isolation and homophobia.
